SmartKeeper recently launched a pioneering line of products that significantly enhance the protection of valuable electronic devices from unauthorized access. At the heart of this solution are easy-to-install color-coded locks that effectively secure devices from unauthorized access while being uncomplicated to use.
The SmartKeeper Essential range offers solutions to protect against PC theft with almost all inputs: USB A, USB B, Mini USB B, Micro USB B, USB C, RJ45, DVI, Serial, Parallel, SD, CF, HDMI, Display Port, Mini DisplayPort and RJ11. The brand is thus setting new standards in the area of physical device security. For example, it offers companies and private users a high degree of protection against unauthorized data leakage or the intrusion of malicious software such as malware, which can get onto the device via removable storage devices and external hardware as well as through human error, manipulation or sabotage.
SmartKeeper offers effective first-level protection against:
- Unauthorized drainage or copying of data
- The infiltration of malicious software on end devices
- Deliberate or accidental removal of network/USB cables
- Port Attacks
- The theft or stealing of PCs or notebooks
- The manipulation or sabotage of IT end devices
Easy handling for all connections
SmartKeeper’s colour-coded locks are the result of innovative technology and make securing devices easy to use, affordable and intuitive. The most impressive thing about the solution: It works without any complex software or configuration updates. The port locks are simply plugged into unused ports and accordingly prevent access to these interfaces.
Two key variants are offered in different color combinations. The basic key is suitable for normal portlocks such as USB and RJ45, while the mini key is intended for all small interfaces such as mini-USB. SmartKeeper endpoints thus address USB ports, network ports, SD, HDMI, fiber optic ports and other input and output ports, which are often the first point of attack for data breach and cyber attacks on IT infrastructure systems.
Access only with correct color code
Each device is given an individual color-coded lock that can only be opened with the corresponding color-coded key. This color-coded identification allows users to quickly find the correct lock for each device and provides a visual method for easy management and organization.
The SmartKeeper locks not only impress with their easy handling, but also with their robust mechanical locking. They are not only an effective, but also an inexpensive addition to the existing security measures.
