Physical work on building sites is demanding. It becomes even more strenuous when heavy tools have to be carried around. This is where the new tool case XXL III electric from Wiha provides relief and comfort.
It is specially designed to meet the requirements of mobile use under difficult conditions. It can be conveniently transported by a single person as it can be pulled on wheels. These are particularly large and are designed so that the case can be easily rolled over stairs and uneven ground using the extendable telescopic handle.
The case also offers support for working in elevated places: it has an extendable step on which the user can stand; the closed case itself can be used as an additional step to stand on. The feet on which the case stands are stable enough for this. It makes the work even easier, as the case no longer stands completely on the floor, thus avoiding the need to bend down repeatedly.
Workshop on wheels
The tool equipment of the case is extensive, so that one is provided for all common cases of need. It includes pliers solutions, automatic crimping and stripping tools, the voltage-proof SoftFinish® slimFix screwdrivers – a classic from Wiha’s range for electricians – and a spirit level for electricians. In addition, newer tools such as a multifunctional torch, a hacksaw and Wiha’s special electrician’s hammer are also to be found in the toolbox. A special feature is the single-pole and contactless Volt Detector, which was only launched by Wiha this year. The 32-piece slimVario set, conveniently packed in a handy bag, is included in the kit along with various other useful tools and aids.
Practical features for precise and safe working anywhere
The lid of the case has two notches which can be used as sawing aids for shortening pipes, rods or cable ducts. Due to the integrated dimension display, the material can be measured at the same time.
When open, the case lid is held open by two shock absorbers, which prevents unintentional closing and also reduces the risk of squeezing fingers. In addition, the case has an integrated anti-theft device with which it can be locked with a padlock. So this enormously versatile tool case is always ready to use, making work easier and more convenient for electricians.
