Er is een constant conflict in de printerindustrie tussen de fabrikanten van originele inkten en de leveranciers van compatibele alternatieven. Veel printerfabrikanten bemoeilijken het gebruik van inkten van derden door middel van firmware-updates en speciale chips. Dit is om ervoor te zorgen dat consumenten alleen originele inkten gebruiken, die vaak aanzienlijk duurder zijn dan hun compatibele tegenhangers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het gebruik van chips in printercartridges is een technische maatregel die herkent of een cartridge afkomstig is van de originele fabrikant. Als dit niet het geval is, kan de printer het gebruik weigeren of waarschuwingen geven. Dit leidt niet alleen tot ongemak voor de eindgebruiker, maar beperkt ook de keuzevrijheid en de mogelijkheid om kosten te besparen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het antwoord van KMP: geherfabriceerde inktpatronen met hybride chip<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/span>Het Duitse bedrijf KMP biedt een innovatieve oplossing in dit conflictgebied: Hybride chips. Deze chips zijn het resultaat van intensief onderzoek en ontwikkeling en zijn bestand tegen de dynamische beveiligingsfunctie van de oorspronkelijke fabrikant. Ze zijn zo ontworpen dat ze de herkenningssoftware van de printer kunnen omzeilen door zich voor te doen als originele cartridges. Hierdoor kunnen consumenten eenvoudig het inktniveau controleren en hebben firmware-updates geen invloed op hun functionaliteit. Dit maakt het gebruik van goedkopere, compatibele inkt mogelijk zonder afbreuk te doen aan de functionaliteit of printkwaliteit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De voordelen van deze technologie zijn talrijk. Voor consumenten betekent dit een aanzienlijke kostenbesparing, aangezien gereviseerde cartridges met hybride chips vaak slechts een fractie van de prijs van originele inkten kosten. Daarnaast draagt het gebruik van dergelijke producten bij aan duurzaamheid, omdat er minder afval wordt geproduceerd en CO2<\/sub> wordt bespaard. De CO2<\/sub>-besparingen in vergelijking met mogelijke nieuwe productie worden geanalyseerd met behulp van een gecertificeerde methodologie in overeenstemming met DIN EN ISO\/IEC 17020. In 2022 en 2023 is al meer dan 1 miljoen kilogram CO2<\/sub> bespaard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De innovatieve hybride chips van KMP<\/a> zijn daarom niet alleen een technologische prestatie, maar ook een belangrijke stap in de richting van consumentenvrijheid en milieubescherming.
