Integendeel, ze veranderen nu al ingrijpend de manier waarop bedrijven werken. Deze technologie\u00ebn worden op steeds meer gebieden ingezet. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan geautomatiseerd voorraadbeheer, voorspellend onderhoud in de productie of slimme fraudedetectie in de financi\u00eble sector. Dit wordt mogelijk gemaakt door het gebruik van sensoren, camera\u2019s en krachtige software. Hiermee kunnen grote hoeveelheden gegevens worden verzameld.
