Mit der Revolution Pi S- und SE-Serie erweitert KUNBUS sein Programm um neue Basismodule seines Open Source IPCs, die erstmals auf dem Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4S.<\/p>\n\n

Die neuen Serien sind zwischen der 3+ Serie und der kommenden RevPi 4-Serie angesiedelt. Folgende Module werden als S\/SE-Serie erh\u00e4ltlich sein: RevPi Core, RevPi Connect und RevPi Flat.<\/p>\n\n

Beim Compute Module 4S, das von der Raspberry Pi Organisation als Alternative zum derzeit schwer lieferbaren Compute Module 3+ angeboten wird, handelt es sich um ein Compute Module im Formfaktor des CM 3+, auf dem der leistungsst\u00e4rkere Arm Cortex-A72 Prozessor des CM 4 verbaut ist.<\/p>\n\n

Die wichtigsten Unterschiede zwischen dem Raspberry Pi CM3+ und dem CM4S<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n

Der Unterschied zwischen der Revolution PI S- und SE- Serie liegt darin, dass die S-Serie kompatibel mit allen Erweiterungsmodulen inklusive der Feldbus Gateways ist. Die SE-Serie l\u00e4sst sich dagegen nur um IO-Module sowie im Falle des RevPi Connect um Con-Module erweitern. Feldbus-Gateways werden in der SE-Serie nicht unterst\u00fctzt. Diese Unterscheidung ist ein Novum und Folge der globalen Halbleiterkrise, da es dadurch m\u00f6glich wird, gen\u00fcgend Ger\u00e4te f\u00fcr alle Kundenanforderungen zu bauen.<\/p>\n\n

Hinweis: <\/strong>Die Kunden, die von Ger\u00e4ten mit dem CM3\/3+ auf RevPis mit dem CM4S umsteigen, m\u00fcssen eine wichtige \u00c4nderung beachten. Die neue CPU des Compute Modules 4S wird erst mit dem Kernel 5.10 unterst\u00fctzt. Die Endverbraucher, die ein eigenes Image oder KUNBUS-Image mit einem \u00e4lteren Kernel benutzen, m\u00fcssen den Kernel updaten.<\/p>\n\n
