Ze leveren indrukwekkende datasnelheden bij een minimaal ruimtebeslag. Wanneer een kritieke temperatuur wordt overschreden, vermindert het systeem automatisch de prestaties om oververhitting en mogelijke schade te voorkomen. Voor SSD&#8217;s betekent dit: lagere schrijf- en leessnelheden \u2013 vaak juist op het moment dat hoge prestaties vereist zijn.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-zonder-koeling-wanneer-prestaties-achterblijven\"><strong>Zonder koeling: wanneer prestaties achterblijven<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Moderne NVMe-SSD&#8217;s kunnen bij intensieve gegevensoverdracht erg heet worden \u2013 temperaturen van meer dan 70 \u00b0C zijn geen uitzondering. Als de SSD bepaalde temperatuurgrenzen overschrijdt, treedt een beschermingsmechanisme in werking: de prestaties worden automatisch beperkt om schade te voorkomen.
