In January, the VDE, one of the largest technology organisations in Europe, presented a position paper according to which the installation and operation of balcony power plants as well as other mini-energy generation systems should be made easier for consumers. Balcony power plants are now to be allowed to be operated with an output of up to 800 W instead of the previous 600 W.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The manufacturer APsystems has reacted to this and offers an upgrade with the EZ1 series when the new legal framework comes into effect. This can be conveniently downloaded via the manufacturer&#8217;s app. This is good news for consumers: The update can also be installed on devices with micro inverters from APsystems that have already been purchased. This means that customers do not have to worry that their balcony power plants will soon have outdated software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">APsystems microinverter with integrated information gateway<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The microinverter now has the information gateway built in internally and is accessible via WLAN and Bluetooh. Users can connect directly to the EZ1 series microinverters via Bluetooth on their mobile phone and retrieve the real-time data of their solar system. In addition to direct connection, the EZ1 series can also be connected to a router via Wi-Fi and send data to cloud servers to enable remote monitoring. Up to 2 inverters with a maximum of 4 solar modules can be monitored and controlled via the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The powerful microinverter can operate two solar panels with an output of up to 730 W. In addition, high input currents of up to 20 A are possible. The IP67-certified housing protects the inverter from the weather.
