Tried and tested, but with a new look: The rain detector from B + B Thermo-Technik GmbH, which is popular with private customers as well as professional users, has been redesigned. This not only improves the look, but above all the functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the rain detector, terminal devices can be controlled in order to improve your own building automation. Thanks to a built-in relay contact for switching low voltages, awnings or skylights, for example, can be automatically closed when it rains. The sensitivity is freely adjustable and thus increases the flexibility of the application – at the highest level the rain sensor even reacts to fog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reliable rain sensor in all weather conditions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/span>In the course of the redesign of the B + B rain detector, the reliability of the sensor surface was also increased for difficult operating conditions such as driving rain. For this purpose, the alignment of the sensor surface was adjusted as well as the size of the individual surfaces. In addition, the built-in automatic heating system ensures reliable precipitation detection even at temperatures around freezing point. The heating, which reacts automatically to moisture, not only prevents icing or condensation, but also serves to dry the sensor surface more quickly or to remove snow residues. In addition, the newly designed version of the rain detector has an individually adjustable switch-off delay with intervals of approx. 90 to 330 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

REGME for private individuals and industrial use<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The REGME is available in two versions: While the classic 24 V version<\/a> is typically predestined for use in an industrial environment, the 12 V version<\/a> is also suitable, for example, for battery power supply in vehicles or at exposed locations. Both can be mounted on an optional mast or wall bracket<\/a>. If this option is not used, a mounting angle of approx. 30 \u00b0 to the horizontal must be ensured. It should also be ensured that the rain sensor is installed in a location that is freely accessible to rain. Dripping water can greatly delay the automatic switching or lead to permanent switching on \/ off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
