The beginnings of BERNSTEIN date back to 1953. Starting as the technical department of the hardware wholesaler Bernhard Steinr\u00fccke, the company has established itself in the following years as an independent tool specialist. Thanks to its know-how in the manufacture of hand tools for repairing television and radio technology, BERNSTEIN has grown to become one of the best-known manufacturers of electronic and precision engineering tools. Because one thing is clear: without the right head shape, filigree components, for example, cannot be picked up and held correctly or, in the worst case, are even irreparably damaged. Features such as a dissipative coating for ESD applications should not be neglected here either.<\/p>\n\n<\/span>However, the material of a pair of tweezers also offers advantages that can make all the difference depending on the application. For many applications, such as picking up and placing small precision mechanical parts, tweezers made of nickel-plated steel or stainless steel are perfectly adequate. If additional work is to be carried out on electrostatically sensitive parts, a conductive coating is absolutely necessary. If you regularly work with components made of particularly sensitive materials, plastic tweezers are a good choice. These only exert a slight but constant pressure. For extraordinary, hard working environments, where resistant and robust tools are required, titanium tweezers can show their advantages. They are light, corrosion-resistant and easy to handle, yet are protected against solder, acids and high temperatures up to 1677 \u00b0C. Titanium also has anti-magnetic and antibacterial properties.<\/p>\n\n
