The DOBOT Magician is a versatile robot arm, which is mainly used for learning programming skills. With the extension attachments such as the 3D printing set or the gripper arm, various scenarios can be tested with little effort. This makes it the ideal introduction to robotics and automation technology.<\/p>\n

Getting Started in Robotics Without Hurdles<\/h2>\n

The DOBOT robot has been designed primarily for training purposes and is characterized by its user-friendliness. With its compact dimensions, it can easily be set up on a desk.<\/p>\n

The DOBOT Studio software (available for Windows and Mac) is provided free of charge and has a graphical programming interface in addition to the classic command line input. This intuitive operation makes the DOBOT Magician robot arm particularly easy for the user to learn programming tasks.<\/p>\n

Countless possibilities with attachments and extensions<\/h2>\n<\/span>The robot arm can be used to think up new motion patterns or to carry out experiments to increase efficiency in production. With its many attachments, a wide variety of functions can be tested. Among other things, a pin holder, a gripper arm, a suction cup or a vacuum pump are available. Control is possible thanks to the numerous interfaces via Bluetooth, WLAN, computer, app, game controller or Leap Motion – depending on the scope of delivery and the modules it contains.<\/p>\n

Further accessories<\/h3>\n

Additional accessories such as a conveyor belt or linear axes for extending the movement range open up additional possibilities. An entire production line can thus be simulated.
\nThe Vision Kit provides the necessary hardware to develop robot systems with optical modules and includes an industrial camera, lighting and mounting accessories.<\/p>\n

Creating models in 2D and 3D<\/h2>\n

With the 3D print attachment, the robot arm can be converted into a 3D printer and models or components can be printed. It can also be used to make technical drawings, plans and images. Thus, the DOBOT Magician is a versatile companion for learning all work steps of automation technology, from the design to the production of components to the assembly.<\/p>\n
