Using the new Booster K1 robots, the team won the world championship title in the Humanoid League \u2013 Kid Size category, achieving a decisive final victory of 11\u20130 against the Chinese team TH-MOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the competition, the students first ported their existing Nao robot software to the Boosters and expanded it with AI-supported functions. This allowed the K1 humanoid robots to learn to avoid obstacles, navigate, stand up, and ultimately score goals. One of the robots also made its European debut at the Leipzig Company Run, successfully crossing the finish line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This success was made possible through the team&#8217;s collaboration with Booster Robotics: the Leipzig robots gained a decisive edge thanks to increased computing power, more precise sensor technology and robust mechanics. This is not only a sporting triumph, but also impressive proof of the capabilities of humanoid robots.
