High-speed mobile internet with 5G – optimally connected everywhere in Europe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The FRITZ!Box 6860 5G<\/a><\/strong> supports 5G Stand-Alone (5G-SA) and 5G Non-Stand-Alone (5G-NSA) as well as 4G and 3G. This makes it perfect for use in Europe and, thanks to LTE Advanced Pro (category 19), makes the most of the 4G network even in regions without 5G network coverage. Carrier Aggregation – the flexible combination of cells from different frequency bands – and Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) enable optimal connections in almost any network constellation. The box’s four cellular antennas enable connections with 4 x 4 MIMO – for even more simultaneous broadband intensive applications in the home network. A nano-SIM slot is the only physical interface other than LAN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Self-powered, flexible to use and easy to install<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to its own power supply via Power over Ethernet and its upright housing, the FRITZ!Box 6860 5G can be installed flexibly indoors, on the wall, on the window or outdoors and is weatherproof thanks to IP54. A housing adapter for outdoor use and a PoE power supply are included. In addition to the signal LEDs, a handy alignment aid helps to optimise the alignment of the box. WLAN, DECT and other mesh devices can be easily registered using the Connect button on the side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Wi-Fi 6, the FRITZ!Box 6860 5G offers speeds of up to 2,400 (5 GHz) and 600 MBit\/s (2.4 GHz). As a Wi-Fi mesh centre, it ensures the best network coverage by forming a shared network (mesh) with all FRITZ! devices and optimising Wi-Fi performance. For outdoor installations, it can be combined with a FRITZ!Repeater<\/a><\/strong> or another FRITZ!Box<\/a><\/strong> (e.g. FRITZ!Box 4050<\/a><\/strong>) via the LAN port of the supplied PoE power adapter to improve indoor Wi-Fi and DECT coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Versatility for telephony and the smart home<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The FRITZ!Box 6860 5G<\/a><\/strong> has an integrated DECT base station that enables smart home and telephony applications. Up to six cordless phones can be used, as well as ten IP phones via the internal SIP registrar. Telephony is via the SIM card’s mobile number using VoLTE\/VoNR or alternatively VoIP\/SIP. Up to five answering machines, a fax machine and SMS are integrated, and messages can be forwarded by email. Even door intercoms can be connected via DECT or IP\/SIP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
