A study conducted by OnePoll on behalf of reichelt elektronik provides insights into the attitude of British consumers towards the topic of e-mobility. Specifically, the acceptance of e-bikes and e-cars will be examined. The main reasons for the use of e-vehicles for the majority of respondents are concern for the environment and the willingness to make a contribution to protecting it.
E-cars are considered to be particularly forward-looking
The e-car has met with the greatest acceptance among British consumers to date: the majority of them consider it to be the vehicle with the greatest potential to make a contribution to environmental protection. In the case of e-bikes, on the other hand, increased comfort when driving is the main reason for purchasing an e-bike.
Many would like the safety of e-vehicles to be further improved and the costs of use to be reduced. However, if this is the case, the majority are sure that we will see more and more e-vehicles on the road in the coming years, especially e-cars.
