Whether privately or professionally – everyone faces renovation work at some point in their own home, on the building site or in the workshop. In order to meet both safety and aesthetic requirements, precise work is essential. An important step towards an accurate result in tiling, drywall construction or sanitary work is the measurement with straight lines on walls and ceilings. In order to avoid having to laboriously mark these lines by hand and to obtain a more precise line image, professionals often rely on line lasers and cross line lasers.
The two new models from the manufacturer Uni-Trend offer a low-cost entry into the field of digital measuring tools without having to forego useful functions. The compact LM570R-I cross line laser not only generates a marking cross with a high accuracy of ±3 mm over 10 m, but is also self-levelling. The integrated automatic mode always projects exact horizontal and vertical lines up to a basic orientation of 3° (±1°). In manual mode, this laser can also be used for the projection of arbitrarily inclined lines, e.g. to work accurately on slopes. All functions are available up to a range of 30 m.
The UT LM570R-I has an extended range of 20 m, but is even more accurate at ±2 mm per 10 m. In addition, it can display not only a marker cross, but also purely horizontal or vertical lines. This makes work considerably easier, for example when slitting drywall.
Both models can be operated for up to 12 hours with two AA batteries. In addition, both models come with a robust carrying bag for easy and safe transport.
