As the latest member of the RP-F10 POS printer series, Seiko Instruments launches the -5, a SEIKO RP-F10-K-3 equipped with a USB Type C port. It enables stable wired communication with Android/Windows/iOS/iPadOS smart devices as well as high-speed charging with support for USB Power Delivery (USB PD).In addition to wired communication via USB, wireless communication via Bluetooth is also available, which enables high-speed charging via USB PD during wireless communication on Android and Windows. When using iOS / iPadOS (Lightning port), USB communication and charging with a maximum of 5V 2.4A are possible.
This will meet the increasing demand for host devices such as smartphones and tablets for mPOS applications, which must be supported by a high-speed charging function with USB-PD.
Other models of the RP-F10 POS printer series differ in interfaces. The -2 model offers the user a USB-A port, the -4 offers wireless communication via Bluetooth in addition to the USB-A port.
