In addition to WLAN (2.4 GHz) and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), ZigBee 3.0 and, for the first time, Matter via WLAN are now on board. Compact design, easy installation
As usual, the Gen4 units are available in a compact flush-mount format. Integrated terminals with improved strain relief and temperature monitoring (depending on model) make installation quick, safe and reliable.
Ideal for retrofitting existing light switches or sockets, but also a smart alternative for new builds.
Powerful – even with high loads
Some models, such as the Shelly 1PM Gen4, also offer integrated power measurement up to 16A (up to 3.5kW). They also have protection features such as overheating and overvoltage detection. The smaller mini version is rated up to 8A (1.8kW). This makes it ideal for tight installation situations.
In addition, the updated hardware platform ensures a faster switching time of less than 200 ms. It also ensures a more stable connection, even when accessing multiple protocols in parallel.
Intuitive control and automation
Set up via the free Shelly app (iOS/Android), web interface or directly via REST API, MQTT or CoAP for maximum integration depth. Scenes, schedules, webhooks and automations can also be controlled locally or in the cloud.
Shelly deliberately avoids vendor lock-in to the cloud – all functions can be controlled locally offline, which is particularly useful in security-critical environments.
