New USB-C adapter from Delock

The USB-C connector is on the rise. And rightly so as it offers a number of advantages in comparison to its predecessors. The most important ones: Devices are easier to connect, data transfer rates are higher and mobile devices charge faster. Some manufacturers are obviously so enthusiastic about the new interface they have forgotten about all the others. A prominent example is the new Macbook Pro from Apple, which, except for four USB-C ports, does not offer any additional connection options. But what about peripheral devices that do not have USB-C? For example, monitors. Can you still use them?

Suitable for every type of monitor

This is where the appropriate adapters come in. What else you need to know: Screens can also be connected to the USB-C port of new Chromebooks or MacBook Pros.

Because in addition to data transmission, USB type-C-connections have an additional function called “DP Alt Mode”.

With the appropriate adapter, monitors of all kinds can be operated on the new USB port, regardless of whether they have HDMI, VGA, DVI or Displayport inputs. Accessories specialist Delock now supplies a suitable adapter for every monitor.
