Helix: the self-retracting cable

The patented shape memory of the HELIX makes handling the cable much easier. Thanks to its elasticity, it automatically returns to its original shape after charging. This “snail shape” saves a lot of space, because the LAPP HELIX takes up around 60 percent less space than a coiled charging cable. The LAPP MOBILITY DOCK is the practical solution for supplying electric vehicles with electricity without a charging station, charging station or wall box. As an emergency charger, it is the perfect companion. The charger enables easy, mobile charging via standard household sockets (earthing contact CEE 7/3, plug type E/F) throughout Europe and is ideal for on the go or in the home garage. The charging process starts as soon as the type 2 charging cable is connected to the type 2 socket on the MOBILITY DOCK. The MOBILITY DOCK, including the charging cable, is then plugged into the household socket. Here we go!
