With the FRITZ!Box 4060 brings AVM launched the first tri-band wireless router for Wi-Fi 6. Users can use the FRITZ!Box 4060 very easily to your existing modem and enjoy the advantages of a powerful home network.
Thanks to Wi-Fi 6, the latest mesh WLAN technology from AVM, as well as three radio units and a total of 12 antennas, WLAN data rates of up to 6 Gbit/s can be achieved. The FRITZ!Box 4060 gets the best out of smartphones and other mobile devices of the latest generation.
As the first model in the 40s FRITZ!Box series, the FRITZ!Box 4060 also DECT. This gives users a powerful WLAN router that also serves as the basis for VoIP telephony. In addition, users can use their smart home products from FRITZ! or other manufacturers via the DECT ULE standard with the WLAN router. The FRITZ!Box 4060 in the new white, upright design also enables impressive leaps in performance with its powerful hardware.In the VPN and USB area, the gigabit limit can be significantly exceeded. The VPN throughput is particularly beneficial for users who work from home and need a stable connection to the company network. The USB speeds are already comparable to dedicated NAS systems. In addition to a USB 3.0 port, the FRITZ!Box 4060 equipped with a 2.5 gigabit WAN connection and three additional gigabit LAN ports, via which a wide variety of devices such as storage media, Printers, Smart TVs or game consoles can be integrated into the home network.
Other features include typical FRITZ!Box functions such as extensive parental controls, a media server for pictures, music, and videos, as well as WLAN guest access and remote access via MyFRITZ!
