3D printers are one of the gadgets which craft fans especially like to experiment with. A completely different device is almost just as exciting for crafty people — cutting plotters. They are ideal for printing many materials — but in 2D not 3D. With a plotter, you can quickly and easily create your own stamps, labels, greeting cards, cut files and much more.
The ScanNCut CM900 does not need a PC
With the ScanNCut CM900, Brother presents a cutting plotter that offers special capabilities around fabric cutting.
Unique: The Brother plotter has a scanner with 300 dpi installed, and so can work totally independently of a PC. This is supported by a 4.8 inch touch screen which makes all basic functions easy to control. You can scan any images that the device then cuts and prints appropriately.
It can also read and process SVG image files. The supplied PC software provides hundreds of stylish templates and allows you to create your own creations on your computer that can be transferred to the plotter.
All of the functions are self-explanatory, only setting the blade and the cutting pressure requires a little practice.
The ScanNCut CM900 then performs patchwork work, flex, flock, paper and film cutting reliably and accurately — a dream for any craft enthusiast.
