In industrial applications, signal lights are used to clearly indicate operating states, warnings and errors. The smart signal lights in the Smart Signaling 50 range from Auer Signal are designed for these tasks, combining high optical performance with a robust mechanical design. Available variants include the Smart Dot 50 and Smart Indicator 50.
Clear colour signals for reliable visual communication
AUER’s smart indicator lights are characterised by high luminosity and clearly defined colour representation. They feature a diffuse, milky dome that is visually unobtrusive when switched off. When in operation, the colours are displayed homogeneously and with high intensity. The colour signals remain clearly distinct from one another and are easily recognisable from different directions. Colour distortion or blurred transitions are avoided by design. The lights are available in one-, two- or three-colour versions, as well as a multi-colour model with seven colours. This allows a compact device platform to meet different signalling requirements.
Versatile lighting modes for flexible signalling concepts
The smart indicator lights support multiple lighting functions to adapt to different application scenarios. These include continuous light, flashing light, colour change and a high-intensity flash to increase attention. An ECO mode is also available, enabling energy-efficient optical signalling. The combination of multiple colours and lighting modes allows for differentiated status indication without additional hardware.
High resistance for harsh industrial environments
The housings of the smart signal lights are designed for use in demanding environments. They comply with protection classes IP66, IP67, IP69, IP69K and IP6K9K. Impact resistance according to IK08 is also specified. This makes the lights suitable for industrial applications with increased exposure to dust, moisture or cleaning processes.Intelligent control and diagnostics directly in the field
Advanced functions are provided by Smart Control and Smart Diagnostics. These enable the lights to be controlled independently of a bus system and allow direct diagnostics at field level. This allows the status and functions of the signal lights to be monitored and evaluated in a targeted manner.
Design and function lines for mechanical engineering and automation
Smart signal lights are available in three design lines: black, white, and stainless steel. There are also three function lines to choose from. Basic covers fundamental signalling tasks. The Standard line expands the range of functions to include seven-colour signalling, as well as Smart Control and Smart Diagnostics. The IO-Link variant enables integration into IO-Link-based automation environments.
Versatile signalling from a single platform
AUER Smart signal lights from the Smart Signalling 50 platform offer high luminosity, clear colour representation and a robust design, all in one uniform concept. Different functional and design lines enable use in a wide range of applications and environments. The result is a flexible signalling solution that can be adapted to different industry and automation requirements.
