The sets are individually tested according to DIN EN 60900 at 10,000 volts. The ten times higher test load guarantees safe working at the maximum permitted voltage of 1,000 volts. This is only possible with slim blades that are precisely tailored to this application.

For these purposes, Wera has the “VDE Kraftform Compact Blades” in its range, which are “extra slim” and have a significantly reduced diameter compared to conventional blades. This means that even deep-set screws in electrical components made of insulating materials can be screwed reliably and securely.

Despite their slim design, high robustness and a long service life are guaranteed. The protective insulation is integrated into the blade and practically wear-free, so that frayed insulations are a thing of the past.
The extra slim blades also fit into the Kraftform handle of the Kraftform Compact System.

Kraftform Kompakt VDE Torque – for consistent quality on every screw

Force-controlled screwdriving in the range from 1.2 to 3.0 Nm is possible with the Kraftform Kompakt VDE Torque torque screwdriver from Wera, the tool manufacturer from Wuppertal.

This effectively prevents damage to the screw or workpiece and ensures the safety of the screw connection. The torque can be adjusted quickly and easily via a window scale. If the selected value is reached, the user hears and feels a clear overrun.

The manual release torque of the Torque tool is unlimited. With Wera’s tried-and-tested handle/changeable blade system, the exchange and reception of insulated changeable blades can be carried out at lightning speed.
