Warehouses and production facilities are at the heart of many businesses. However, outdated lighting systems can hinder efficiency, resulting in high energy costs, high maintenance costs and inflexible lighting concepts that cannot be adapted to changing work processes, all of which undermine cost-effectiveness.
The new generation of LED high-bay spotlights (UFOs) from ENOVALITE addresses precisely this issue. This series is more than just a replacement for old HQL lamps: it is a modular lighting solution that impresses with its high versatility and intelligent control. This means that the entire high-bay lighting system can be modernised and future-proofed with just one product.
The challenge: flexibility in industrial lighting
Different areas of a warehouse have different lighting requirements. For example, the assembly zone requires bright, concentration-enhancing light (4000 K to 6500 K), while high-bay warehouses need precise illumination of the aisles without wasting energy on the ceilings or tops of racking.
ENOVALITE LED high-bay spotlights solve this problem with an ‘all-in-one’ design. Rather than planning a separate luminaire for every scenario, these spotlights can be adapted on site.
Customisable output thanks to DIP switches
A key advantage during planning is the adjustable power consumption. Integrated DIP switches allow the wattage of the floodlights to be adjusted in three stages:
- Model 1: selectable between 60 W, 80 W or 100 W (up to 16,000 lm)
- Model 2 & CCT variant: selectable between 120 W, 160 W and 200 W (up to 32,000 lm)
In practice, this means that the brightness can be precisely adjusted after installation to suit the ceiling height or visual requirements. This reduces the rate of planning errors and greatly simplifies stock management.

Variable colour temperature and precise optics
In addition to output, light colour is crucial for workplace ergonomics. While the standard models perform well with neutral white at 4,000 K, the CCT variant offers maximum flexibility. Here, the colour temperature can be switched between 3,000 K, 4,000 K and 6,500 K.
Adjustable beam angles (60°, 90° or 120°) ensure the light reaches exactly where it is needed, from focused spot lighting in aisles to wide-area illumination of open spaces.
Technical specifications: Efficiency meets robustness
With a luminous efficacy of 160 lm/W, this series is among the most energy-efficient in its class. Compared to conventional high-bay spotlights, electricity costs can often be reduced by over 60%.
For professional control, all models are dimmable as standard using a 0–10 V system. This allows for seamless integration into existing building management or manual dimming systems. The spotlights are certified to IP65 (dust and water jet protection) and IK08 (impact resistance) to ensure the technology withstands even harsh conditions.

Smart upgrade: Sensor-ready for maximum savings
The most efficient luminaire is one that only turns on when needed. Every spotlight in this series is ‘sensor-ready’. A microwave sensor can be easily retrofitted via a 3-pin plug-and-play socket, without the need to open the housing or lay new cables.
- Demand-based switching: the light only activates when motion is detected
- Daylight detection: The sensor detects incoming light through skylights and uses the 0–10 V interface to automatically dim the spotlight
- Synchronisation: Once created, profiles (e.g. fade-out time and dimming levels) can be conveniently transferred to all other spotlights in the hall at the touch of a button.
Conclusion: Modernisation made easy
The combination of variable output, switchable light colour and simple sensor retrofitting makes ENOVALITE’s LED hall spotlights suitable for industrial applications. Whether in a workshop, logistics centre or production hall, a single, uniform system can cover a wide range of applications. This reduces planning effort, installation costs, and energy consumption during operation.
The series allows for flexible expansion and conversion to modern LED technology.
