A thermistor is a variable electrical resistor whose value changes reproducibly as the temperature changes (to a greater extent than standard resistors).

Output: When the temperature is rising, the module reaches approximately 5 V. If there is a sudden drop in temperature, the module reaches approximately 0 V. If you connect the sensor to an input on the Arduino™ via the TinkerKit shield, then you will get values of between 0 and 1023.

(Note: The values change slowly and do not vary a great deal.)

Description of the module: This module contains a thermistor, a signal amplifier, a 3-pin standard TinkerKit connector, a green LED to indicate that the module is connected correctly and a yellow LED, whose brightness changes according to the temperature.

This module is a sensor. The connector is an OUTPUT, which must be connected to an INPUT on the TinkerKit shield.
