Inertial Two sensor board, an add-on board for Atmel AVR Xplained Kits.
The Atmel Inertial Two sensor board offers a full 9 degrees of freedom sensor platform, combining an acceleration sensor, a compass and a gyroscope, making it ideal for developing motion sensing or user interface applications.

The Inertial Two sensor board contains sensor components that are all interfaced via the I2C Serial Digital Interface.
This board is compatible with all of the Atmel AVR Xplain boards and offers a wide selection of Atmel AVR controllers for your solution.

• Provides full 9-degree motion sensing functions
• 3-axis magnetometer from Honeywell (HMC5883L)
• 3-axis acceleration sensor from Kionix (KXTF9)
• 3-axis gyroscope from InvenSense (IMU-3000)
• All sensors interface via I2C port
• Software
• Sensors Xplained software drivers are available for all supported device sensors. The drivers work in conjunction with Atmel Software Framework versions 2.2 and higher and provide the basic interface with the sensors. In addition to the raw data, the drivers convert the outputs from each sensor into a common API format, and calibrated "Engineering Units" results ensure ease of use in your application.
