Inductive sensing is a contactless, magnet-free sensor technology that can be used to measure the position, movement or composition of a metal or conductive target and detect the compression, extension or twist of a spring.

The LDC1000 enables inductive sensing through the use of coils and springs as inductive sensors, in order to deliver better performance, a higher degree of reliability and greater flexibility than existing sensing solutions — at lower system cost and power consumption.
