As before, the basic task of the ALL4500 IP sensoric appliance is to measure and signal ambient conditions

similar. This can be done manually, time-controlled or depending on the recorded values.

you want to control, measure or regulate are in the same building or on another continent. The ALLNET ALL4500 is
accessible via an IP address. The medium is your existing computer network and the Internet. The values determined can be
retrieved directly from the device or sent periodically by email or if the values exceed or fall below
certain preset limit values. An integrated XML interface is used to query data externally
via the Internet.

Individually adapted for all needs

The ALL4500 IP sensoric appliance has a Linux-based open source operating system. Thus, it offers enough space for
the user to develop and adapt the software precisely for the planned use.

The new variety of interfaces

The ALLNET ALL4500 IP sensoric appliance has a large number of interfaces for connecting a wide variety of additional modules.
In addition to the eight RJ45 sensor ports for connecting sensors, actuators, relays etc., the appliance also offers three serial
RS232 ports, a RS485 port, and two USB 2.0 interfaces. For example you can use this to connect USB memory sticks or

To connect the measuring and control modules to the central unit, all ALLNET Home automation products use a copper cable
with four wires (I2C-Bus). For this, an existing cable network, such as your own network or telephone wiring,

supplied with voltage by the central unit. A separate power source for the individual modules is not necessary.
Many of the modules are also available in DIN rail versions.
