BENNING ST 725 — Appliance tester for portable testing of electrical appliances.

• Testing in accordance with VDE 0701-0702, DGUV regulation 3 (BGV [Federal Association of Health and Consumer Information] A3), German Health & Safety Regulations (BetrSichV), ÖVE ÖNORM E 8701, NEN 3140

Application:
Safety testing for electrical appliances/work equipment in compliance with VDE 0701-0702, DGUV Regulation 3 (BGV A3) and German Health & Safety Regulations (BetrSichV).
Mains operation allows appliances with power supply units to be tested, such as electronically controlled appliances/tools, PCs, copiers and washing machines under operating conditions.

Measuring functions:
• Protective conductor resistance with > 200 mA pulsed test current — necessary for oxidised contacts
• Insulation resistance with 250 V and 500 V test voltage
• Protective conductor/touch current using differential method/direct measurement with mains operation and using leakage current method with battery operation
• Active measurement of protective conductor current of three-phase appliances under operating conditions with optional measurement adapter
• Testing of permanently installed and portable 30 mA FI/RCD/PRCD circuit breakers with tripping time measurement
• Voltage measurement at external earthed socket
