HomeMatic wired RS485 blind actuator, 1-way, 2 sub-units

Power switch with two potential-free interlocked relay switch outputs for opening and closing e.g. Venetian blinds and awnings. Interference-free thanks to bus cabling and simple programming on the unit.

The blind actuator is suitable for blinds and roller shutters with end position switches (mechanical or electronic) with 230 V AC motors. The two potential-free outputs are interlocked.

The components can be mounted in a control cabinet or a sub-distribution unit and can organise all switching processes in your house. You can build your home switching system easily and conveniently using a modular principle.

Intelligent control
All the electrics in your home can be controlled intelligently via the central control unit.
The modules communicate with each other via the HomeMatic bus which means they are programmable and addressable.

Future-proof, flexible and extendable
If something changes, the flexible system design means the hardware does not have to be re-installed, it can easily be reconfigured using the central control unit.
Since each component can be configured individually, virtually any scenario can be set up after installation, without intervention in the hardware, or in the wiring.

Simply connect a number of components
Up to 127 modules can be driven from each RS485 bus. The control and load side of the individual modules are electrically isolated from one another. The HomeMatic bus cabling is safe in operation and interference-free, and requires no extensive construction work during installation into the building. The modules permit network topologies (Bus, star, hybrid). All connections are made in operationally secure IDC connector technology.

Simple programming
Programming the individual modules is quick and easy. Most of the components have a programming button and an associated light emitting diode display on the device. The module is put into programming mode using this switch. By activating any connected operating switch, this is allocated to the actuator. This completes the configuration process. A change in allocation at any time is just as easy to carry out. This intuitive programmability of the individual actuators means a wide range of tasks can be controlled with just a few system components. Naturally, all programming remains intact in the event of a power outage.

Even more flexible with the central control unit
Even with simple actuator control you have a number of options, but the HomeMatic central control unit further increases the number of configuration options considerably. The HomeMatic central control unit keeps the interfaces for the components ready. All components in the bus system can be programmed conveniently, simply and intuitively. Many of the functions possible with wireless components are also possible with wired components. Schedules, responses to sensor readings — everything is possible.

Fully integrated
The HomeMatic central control unit bridges the gap! It connects the wireless world of HomeMatic with the wired HomeMatic components. Wireless remote controls manage wired actuators. Wireless switch actuators and dimmers are combined with wired components in scenarios.
