TEENSYSHD OCTO28 :: LED-RJ45 shield for the Teensy 3.1
Item-No.: TEENSYSHD OCTO28
This adapter card connects the Teensy 3.1 with thousands of WS2811/WS2812 LED (also called NeoPixel) with the help of the OctoWS2811 library.
It contains a 74HCT245 buffer block and 100-ohms series resistors. The board is connected to the LED strips via a CAT6 Ethernet cable. A CAT6 cable is characterised by a very high bandwidth, minimum crosstalk between the pairs of wires and an impedance of 100 ohms to provide a excellent signal transmission.
Teensy 3.1 is a small breadboard-compatible development board designed by Paul Stoffregen and PJRC. Teensy 3.1 is a cost-effective 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 platform for amateur developers, students and engineers to use with a customised version of the Arduino™ IDE (Teensyduino) or for direct programming in C.
