The developer board for your Arduino™ Uno


The STMicroelectronics Nucleo development boards (Nucleo-L152RE) evaluate and develop the ARM Cortex™ M3 processor-STM32 L1 32-bit flash microcontroller with the LQFP64 package. The mbed-enabled ST ARM board supplies integrated connectors, which support Arduino™ connectivity and most screens. It also includes the STMicroelectronics Morpho pin base connectors and provides full access to all of the I/Os of the STM32 microcontroller. The development board has an integrated ST-LINK/V2 circuit debugger/programmer for connection to the on-board STM32L152RE-MCU or the correct STM32 L1-MCU in your application.

Series STM32L1
ARM® Cortex™ M3-based STM32 of the L1 series uses the ST proprietary process technology with the lowest leakage current with innovative autonomous dynamic voltage scaling and five (5) power-saving modes, offering unprecedented platform flexibility suitable for every application. The STM32 in the L1 series extends the concept of particularly low power consumption, without compromising performance.
  • Extremely low energy-use mode with 300 nA protection registers (3 activation pins)

  • Extremely low energy-use mode + real-time clock (RTC): 900 nA with protection registers (3 activation pins)

  • Power-saving mode: up to 9 µA

  • Dynamic operation mode: up to 230 µA/MHz
