    • ESD test station

Includes ESD base plate, connecting cable and wall brackets

The leakage resistance tester enables identification of a malfunction of conductive wristbands and footwear. In addition, an access control can be carried out using the integrated door opening function.

Two separate finger electrodes allow automatic recognition of the chosen test. LEDs show the operational readiness, the test process and the result.

If a negative result is produced, an acoustic signal can also be triggered. A relay output (safety extra low voltage), which is activated with a positive test result, can be used to actuate a door opener.

The tester can be set to three operating modes using an internal dip switch: single test (wristband or shoe test) and combined test (wristband and shoe test) or a shoe-to-shoe test. With the combined test, both tests must be completed in succession in a certain period of time, so that the relay output is activated. With the shoe-to-shoe test, the measurement takes place between the two shoe electrodes; it is not necessary to actuate the finger electrodes on the device. The device is controlled by a microcontroller, which can be configured using a PC via an internally accessible USB/RS232 interface. In this way, the limit values for the tests and sometimes can be set for the test procedure. The comparison of the resistance determination is also carried out using this interface.
