Many manufacturers indicate that their devices (e.g. measuring devices, remote controls, watches, cameras) only work with 1.5 V alkaline batteries and warn against the use of Ni-MH batteries that have a voltage of 1.2 V, which is too low for proper operation.
Such devices can be operated safely with NiZn batteries, which have a voltage of 1.6 V per cell. Thanks to this clever NiZn battery technology, you no longer have to constantly purchase batteries, which is a relief for the environment and your wallet.

Features and functions:
  • Charger for 1 - 4 AAA or AA NiZn batteries

  • Only suitable for 1.6 V nickel zinc batteries

  • Microcontroller-controlled charging

  • Automatic battery full detection ensures optimum charging results

  • Multiple overcharge protection by means of voltage monitoring and safety timer

  • Individual bay monitoring

  • Detects NiMH/NiCd batteries and interrupts the charging process

  • Faulty battery detection

  • Reverse polarity protection

  • Charging status display with separate LED for each charging bay

  • Can be used worldwide (100 - 240 V AC/50 - 60 Hz)

  • Charging current: 500 mA
