If you are a network engineer checking existing networks or even setting up Ethernet networks, SignalTEK NT allows you to prove performance parameters and Gigabit Ethernet transmission rates and detect any potential faults. By simulating actual data traffic, engineers can test and document the performance of the network and the data cables in accordance with Gigabit Ethernet standards. In situations where system warranties are not required, the SignalTEK NT provides a cost-effective means of proving that your copper and fibre-optic networks operate without any problems. No annual calibration required, reducing operating costs.

  • Test the performance parameters of the network on copper cables and fibre-optic in accordance with IEEE802.3ab

  • Wiring test for opens, shorts, faulty wiring and split pairs, in accordance with TIA-568

  • Test of the Gigabit transmission route on copper cables and fibre-optic

  • Network load test by means of switches with simulation of the CCTV/IPTV/VoIP/web traffic

  • PoE/PoE+ check with the display of the voltage available on the device and the assigned pins

  • Ethernet continuity test on the device up to 10/100/1000 Mbit/s

  • Network configuration verification (device IP/gateway address/subnet mask)

  • Switch port identification via LLDP/CDP protocols determines the distance to the fault using TDR technology (copper cables only)
