ATmega128RFA1
The ATmega128RFA1 is a low-power CMOS 8-bit microcontroller based on AVR RISC architecture, extended by a high data rate and combined with a transceiver for the 2.4-GHz ISM band. It is a combination of the ATmega1281 microcontroller and the AT86RF231. By executing instructions in a single clock cycle, the device achieves throughputs of almost 1 MIPS per MHz and enables system designers to optimise power consumption in comparison to processing speed. The radio transceiver provides high data rates of 250 kb/s up to 2 Mbit/s, frame handling, excellent receiver sensitivity and high transmission power. This enables a very robust wireless communication.
