During the renaissance ultramarine was the most expensive pigment a painter could use. Our color inspired by the original ultramarine blue will make you 3d prints look super classy. Since our Ultramarine blue is also ever so slightly translucent, it reminds of gemstones and how they play with the light.

Colorfabb developed its own unique blend of PLA/PHA which results in a tougher and less brittle PLA 3d printing filament. PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate) is like PLA a bio-polyester, so our unique blend is still 100% biodegradeable. This material is available in a huge variety of colors, take a look in our PLA/PHA portfolio.

The filament is tested on following 3D printers:
  • Ultimaker Original
  • Ultimaker Original Dual Extrusion
  • Ultimaker 2
  • Makerbot Replicator 2s
  • Delta Tower (E3D hot-end)
  • Felix 20
  • Leapfrog Creator
  • Beethefirst
  • Mass Portal Pharaoh ED
  • Prusa i3 HEPHESTOS
